Hello, Monmouth Junction Families!
I am proud to welcome you as principal of Monmouth Junction School. It is a privilege to be a part of this vibrant school community that provides the very best education for children.
Allow me to tell you about myself. In 1992, I began my career at South Brunswick High School as an English teacher, house leader and internal coordinator for the strategic planning process. In 2001 I transitioned to leadership positions at Central Office which included the role of Director of Professional Development. I also served as Monmouth Junction’s principal from 2006-2016 prior to working as Director of Secondary Education.
As a graduate of Montclair State University, I earned a degree in English Education and a Master’s in Reading. I also studied at The College of New Jersey, completing my administrative degree and certifications. In 2007, I successfully defended my dissertation to earn a doctorate in Educational Leadership, Management and Policy at Seton Hall where I teach graduate courses as adjunct professor.
In addition, I volunteer on behalf of children and adults with autism which is very important to me. I serve as Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees of Eden Autism Services. Additionally, I chair their Committee on Aging and Medical Needs as well as chair of the Eden Dreams Gala.
I look forward to working with Monmouth Junction’s staff and families and getting to know you better. Let’s find joy and wonder in learning… every child, every class, every day!
