Yesterday SBHS Seniors came back to visit Monmouth Junction School, the place where it all started for them. They were greeted by some of their past elementary teachers, (some retirees even came back out to visit), they sang the MJ School Anthem, and they took pictures together. Once a Jaguar, always a Jaguar!

Attention parents!! Please look closely at these photos from our Lost and Found box. If you see anything here that belongs to your child, please send your child down to our Lost and Found in the cafeteria to get it. Any clothing left after Friday will be donated.

Mrs. Jenne's Peer Ambassadors created lovely summer decorations for our office trees, sprucing them up and getting everyone in the summer spirit. Great work Jaguars! We have so much talent, thoughtfulness and kindness here at MJ!

Next week is Spirit Week at MJ!

Today we had a chance to welcome our newest Junction Jaguars who will be starting here in September. Excitement was had by all!

MJ's annual 5th Grade Fun Day was a HUGE success! It might have a been a hot one, but nothing could keep the smiles from our Jaguars' faces today as they got to participate in this very special 5th grade event. From game trucks, to backyard games and ice pops, our students had a blast. Thank you so much to our PTO for all their hard work putting this together and for keeping this end of year 5th grade tradition going.

Come out for our final PTO Meeting of the Year! June 16th @ MJ

Mrs. Jenne's Peer Ambassadors are working hard to get ready to welcome our new MJ students :)

Yesterday was MJ partnered with the SBPD for our annual Torch Run event supporting the NJ Special Olympics. We are so thankful to all our Jaguars and their families for raising over a whopping $1000 to support the cause. Great job MJ! A special thanks goes out to Mr. Henning and Mrs. Nieves for all their hard work organizing this event for our school and to the SBPD.

Here are a few more photos from our 3-5 group of Jaguars during today's Field Day. Have a great weekend!

Our staff are feeling so LOVED and Appreciated this week thanks to our amazing PTO who took such very good care of us all week long. Our special week started off with a delicious breakfast from Business Bistro (one of our favorite days) on Monday, and ended Friday with a wonderful pizza lunch. In between we were treated to an array of snacks, and had a visit from an ice cream truck AND a taco truck. Even our staff room was decorated so nicely, with a superhero theme. Every day was something extra special. Thank you so, so very much to our MJTPO and MJ families for all you did for us. We feel your love.

Good luck to our kiddos taking the NJSLA! You've got this!!

Today we said farewell to Mrs. Bercaw, our beloved Librarian here at MJ. Students lined the halls to clap Mrs. Bercaw out, and last week staff hosted a farewell breakfast for her. Mrs. Bercaw's excitement and love for books was contagious; she helped foster a love for reading with all our Jaguars, big and small. We wish her much love and success as she moves forward onto her next chapter. We will miss you!!

Sign up for our newest club: Table Tennis! Use the QR code on the flyer to sign up. This after school club begins May 4th.

Our kindergarten students have been learning about "Community Helpers", so today they had a visit from the Monmouth Junction Fire Department.. Firefighters showed the kids their equipment/gear and the tools on the truck. Students got to go into the truck and had all their questions answered by the pros!

Today we celebrated Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month with a school wide assembly. Mr. Scheese read the book "What I Wish You Knew: Explaining Autism Through a Child's Eyes. Jaguars then met with their Buddy Classes to create a puzzle piece sharing our uniqueness. The pieces will create a beautiful puzzle to show just how special our community is here at MJ!
