MJ's Trunk or Treat on Friday night was so much fun! So many families participated by decorating trunks, and we had so many trunk or treaters! Congratulations to this year's winners: "Pick or Treat" won the "One of a Kind" award, "Harry Potter the Great Hall" won "Epitome of Creativity", and the "Jumping Spider" won the "Scariest" trunk. Great job to everyone who participated, and a special thanks to our PTO for putting this wonderful event together.

Our kindergarten students had perfect weather for their field trip yesterday to Von Thun's Farm. They got to pick a pumpkin, go on a hayride, and tour the farm animals. It was such a fun experience!

For our day today in our Week of Respect, our theme was "Let Respect Shine". To show how they can shine with respect, Mrs. Knox's class celebrated the importance of empathy. Students made friendship bracelets and drew photos about ways to show kindness, love and care. They completed a kindness bingo board and took part in a partner role play where students worked together to act out different scenarios. To conclude the activity, students went around the building and delivered little notes with encouraging stickers to the MJ staff!
